Force and Pressure- Blog 3

F & P Day 3 Drill

In today's class, we will revise what we have learned so far:

The blog has some questions you will answer. You may use the previous blogs to answer them.

You will write the answers in the comment section with your name.
You should also keep them safe in your science note book.

Drill:

1. Two boys pull a rope from two ends with a force equal to 100N each. What is the resultant force?

2. A body is acted upon by two forces of 200N and 300N, in the same direction. What is the resultant force acting on it?

3. If several forces act on a body in different directions, in which direction will the body move?

4. What is the resultant force of the two forces F1 and F2 acting on a body in the opposite directions?

5. What is the S.I unit of force?

6. The force exerted by one object on another by virtue of their masses is__________.

7. A spring balance is used for measuring____________.

8. Application of force can change the _____,______ and_______ of an object.

9. Force exerted by our muscle is called__________.

10. Name the force to collect scrap iron from the garbage.

  25. AVI SURANA-

A1] The two forces are acting along the same line but in opposite direction. Therefore,Resultant force =100N - 100N=0 N

A2] Two bodies acting along the same line in the same direction-resultant force= 200N+300N=500N

A3] It remains at the mean position.

A4] It depends on the situation- if the two forces are equal then both get canceled out if they aren't equal then the resultant will goes through force with higher value.

A5] The SI unit of force is newton [N].

    A6] Electrostatic Force.

A7] The spring balance is used to measure the weight of objects

A9] The force exerted by our muscular is called as muscular force. It may be controlable or uncontrolable.

    A10] Magnetic Force.
